I found this assignment quite challenging, from the concept scribble to the final layout, I found myself continually questioning myself wether i was going in the right direction. It was certainly a project that i could have kept on refining but you sometimes just need to draw the line in the sand. I am still very proud of what I came up with especially since I changed the layout and persisted to make it work for what i wanted to do. After seeing the poster printed, it gave me a real confidence boost knowing I had created it.
Also after seeing it printed I am so glad that just before sending off to print I reduced all the body text size from 20pt to 18pt but increased the leading from 18pt to 20pt as it really allowed the body text to breath and give it a feeling of space. I am super happy that i stuck with the hero phrase rather than the quote as i believe it has worked better for my layout than the quote would have. As I said, still a very challenging task but one I am really proud of the end result
