This project from the beginning was a challenge, and a bigger one than I really thought it was going to be. I had to spend a lot of time just doing research about the whole project and not just design. As I was doing UNO cards there are double the amount compared to a normal deck of cards so getting them printed was certainly going to be a challenge. I Tried to do research on where I would be able to get the cards printed plus looked at costs associated with this. Even though I was doing extensive research I kept coming up short on where I could get the cards printed as places wouldn't help unless I was ordering 100+ decks at a time.

At the start of this project I really didn't have a set direction with layouts and themes, all i had to get started with was a colour range I had put together which I thought would look really good together. Only once I had completed my mood-board did I finally manage to see the direction of design and layout come together.

As said previously I put in extensive time spent on basic scribbles and thoughts, doing these scribbles definitely helped bring everything together and this was an absolutely fantastic project which certainly pushed me well out of my comfort zone. Once it was all done, completed and produced it definitely helped to strengthen my confidence that i really can put together some fantastic designs and that my ideas are useable and unique. These cards came out absolutely amazing and the photos don't do it justice at all. For those wondering where I got them printed, it was a printing studio in UK and I had a few spares printed so all in all I had around 120 cards produced and it cost me $180 Aus including postage but they are thick cards that will last forever.
